Captain Forbes Museum     617-696-1815

The Captain Robert Bennet Forbes House
was designed by architect Isaiah Rogers in
1833. The museum holds a collection
of American, European and Chinese
heirlooms. Tours are offered on Sundays,
Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
from 1:00-4:00.

Suffolk Resolves House
1370 Canton Avenue
In 1774 at this house, the Suffolk Resolves,
a list of grievances against the King of
England was drawn up. The resolves were
one of the first formal protests by the
colonists.
