Director’s Notes

This year marks our 11th season and the start of a new dawn for the theatre company, as we start our second decade of bringing quality family entertainment to beautiful Shallowford Square.

To make it extra special, we have decided to produce our Pirate Summer, with 2 rollicking, swashbuckling Broadway hits, that everyone will enjoy!
First up, flying into the square on June 5th and running for 2 weekends, will be the family classic, Peter Pan! Destined to be one of our most challenging productions, Peter Pan will delight all of us who never really want to grow up! Don't miss this timeless classic; made even more popular with the recent movies Finding Neverland, Peter Pan and Hook. It's a show the whole family will enjoy!
In September, we will produce the rousing, Gilbert and Sullivan musical, The Pirates of Penzance. It will be our first Gilbert and Sullivan musical and promises to be one of our great productions. It's a funny and exciting musical and will be filled with lots of bumbling pirates, confused policemen and a cast of characters that will be hard to forget. The songs are both hysterical and beautiful and a great time will be had by all.
I look forward to seeing you for WSCT's Pirate Summer!
