The Society For The Preservation of Continued Homeownership, a New Jersey Nonprofit, 501(c)(3) Corporation, hereafter "the NONPROFIT", owns and operates this website whose URL address is www.SPOCH.org, hereafter, "this site," or "our site." Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using our site. By using this site, you automatically agree to all of these terms of use. The NONPROFIT may revise these terms from time to time. If you continue to use our site after we post changes to these terms and conditions, it will mean that you accept those changes.

Use of Materials on this Site

The NONPROFIT maintains this site for your personal information, education, and communication. Please feel free to browse our site. All materials on our site, including but not limited to artwork, photographs, graphics, audio clips, video clips, text and trademarks, are the sole property of the NONPROFIT or its licensors. The exclusive rights to all materials on this site are protected by U.S. and international laws of copyright, trademark and unfair competition.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, display, prepare derivative works based on, republish, transmit, repost or otherwise use the content of our site, without prior written authorization from the NONPROFIT. The information and opinions expressed in materials posted by visitors on the chat areas, bulletin boards, lists or other venues connected with our site (collectively, "forums") are not necessarily those of the NONPROFIT or its affiliates and the NONPROFIT makes no representations or warranties regarding such posted materials. Users should be aware that our forums are public, not private communications. When you voluntarily disclose personal information on our forums, that information can be collected and used by others and may result in unsolicited messages from other people. Privacy

a. Normal website usage:
The NONPROFIT has a firm commitment to internet privacy. You can visit most portions of checnet.org without telling us who you are and without revealing any personal information. The only information we collect from a normal web site visit is the name of your internet service provider, the browser and type of machine you are using, the web site that referred you to us, the pages you request and the date and time you request them. We use this information to generate statistics and measure site activity to improve the usefulness of the site to our visitors.

b. Collection of personally identifiable information:
The NONPROFIT may collect email addresses and other personally identifiable data about visitors when such data is voluntarily submitted to checnet.org. For example, our site uses order forms for visitors to request information, products, and services, or to become a member. Contact information from the order form is used to send orders and information about the NONPROFIT to our visitors.

c. The NONPROFIT makes every effort to ensure the secure collection and transmission of sensitive user information using industry accepted data collection and encryption methodologies.

d. The NONPROFIT does not sell or otherwise disclose such user information outside the organization. However, if you become a member of the NONPROFIT, some information on our membership lists, such as your name and address, may be exchanged with other organizations. Members may opt-out of such membership list exchanges by sending a message to the Executive Director whose Email address is: NJDave@SPOCH.org.

e. Cookies:
Like most websites, the NONPROFIT may place a "cookie," or small file, in the browser files of a visitor's computer. We use cookies to save information you give us so you don't have to re-enter it each time you visit our site. This allows us to personalize the site to your taste and provide the best web experience possible to our visitors.

f. Special Notification with Respect to Children's Privacy (Users under age of 13).
