Heritage House Outpatient Center provides non-residential addiction treatment to court-referred participants of the Proposition 36 program. Prop 36 was passed by California voters in November, 2000 to offer first- and second-time offenders (non-violent with simple drug possession charges) to access treatment as an alternative to incarceration. The Heritage House Outpatient Center provides needs assessment, treatment planning, individual and group counseling, 12-Step group support, and discharge planning.
