I never thought I had a problem until March of 2002 when CPS took my then 3 month old son from me. Yes they gave me chances to try and clean up first but I guess I thought I was going to continue to fool everyone when in all reality I was only fooling myself. Anyways I also went to Angel Step Too to begin my road to sobriety. You know how us addicts are I tried to just get by and "play the part" if you would. It took my couselor (who I am truly greatful) to break me (which she did). She just called me out during a small group one day and that was it for me. My Walls came down and it was then that I really became serious about getting sober. I got my son back before I left there. I have a life now and I enjoy it without all the negative things!!! I wouldn't have been here if not for the staff of ASToo!!!!
