Message HELP FOR BROTHER was posted by Lorraine, on 12/2/2008 9:24:23 PM. I just buried my charming & intelligent 56 year old brother in May due to delerium tremors. He died in his bed after quitting alcohol for 3 days.
Now, my 55 year old brother is killing himself in the same way. He is devastated by the loss of our brother but cannot handle things like a normal person. He lost it when my older brother died and ended up in jail again. He's out now and I am trying to get him help immediately. I was told by someone at Cider House tonight that if his parole officer calls in, he would be admitted right away. I hope this is true as I already left a message for his PO about this.
Today, I drove by a park and saw him sitting there, homeless and tired. It's so devastating for me and my family.
