Meet Pooh-bear
Pooh is a precious 9 year old male pug who came to NIPRA because his human family could no longer care for him. When Pooh was 7 years old, he was found abandoned in a backyard. Although Pooh has irreparable luxated patellas on both hind legs, he still goes up and down stairs and can even run. He is a very gentle, quiet boy who does very well with other animals and children and just look at that cute little pink tongue that peeks out all of the time! NIPRA currently has a waiting list for pugs needing to come into our care. If you have ever considered opening your heart and home to a rescue pug in need of a temporary place to stay, now is a great time to get involved.
