Mission Statement


 

 

  •       The International Black Film Festival is using "film as a tool of social change" because we no longer live in the literary age and the movies can transform society.

 

  •  In addition, the IBFF supports and promotes art, the cinematic arts, and artists,

  •  facilitates the networking of professionals,

  •  promotes standards of excellence,

  • educates and informs about the Human experiences,
 
  • promotes diversity and understanding through dialogue.



  • To address the problems facing artists in the 21st Century.

  • To create and develop new markets for artists at domestic and worldwide venues in accordance with our "Strategic Goals".

The IBFF maintains the support of the community at large andwe provide a service that is essential by nurturing artists and creating a platform for discussion,education and cultural exchange.

The IBFF schedules programs in collaboration with universities, academic institutions and other cultural organizations and makes programs available to the general public.
