1. Allen C. Dawson,(IBFF Executive Director and Board President) is a fundraiser, grant-writer and the Association of Fundraising Professionals 2008 Maurice Gurin Scholar.
He is the first Black to appear in the ABC daytime television serial "Ryans' Hope". He has appeared on stage with world renown theatre groups like the Negro Ensemble Company and in numerous commercials, i.e., Pepsi-Cola, Wise Potato Chips, Cambells's Soup, etc, and films with Laurence Fishburne, Robert Townsend, Natalie Wood, Ray Sharkey, Micheal Ontkean, Maude Adams, Margot Kidder, Bruce Dern and others.
Allen was formerly the producer of the Acapulco International Jazz Festival, and was recently elected to the Board of the"Memphis Film Commission".
And, is currently a "Junior Fellow" in the United Way Non-Profit Leadership Institute at the Baruch School of Public Administration.
He has two plays in circulation, "A Weekend Pass and A Patriot in Brooklyn" (produced by New Heritage Theatre 2006)and is promoting international tourism through worldwide festivals.
2.Richard L. Barbuto,Esq., (IBFF Board member) has been a banker and attorney for over 40 years. He is on the Board of the "Shaw Project" and the Board of the "Henry George School of Social Sciences" where he taught "Money and Banking" for many years.
Richard is an organization dynamics trainer and ensures focused that not for profit organizations remain focused on their stated "Missions".
He has produced a dozen plays and been a Democratic candidate for numerous offices including State Senate and Congress. Richard was elected Trustee of his village in Westchester.
5.Jim Korn (IBFF Board member) is an independent entrepenuer. He is the proprietor of Kaufman's Army Navy Stores. Kaufman's has supplied military paraphernalia to the entertainment industry as props for stage and screen and to the general public for over 60 years.
6.Rona Kluger, is an IBFF Advisor and independent consultant. Sheconsults with U.S and international non-profit organizations.Rona is in strategic planning, board, organizational development, fundraising, and grant-writing development. She has been an independent consultant for over 20 years working with NYSCA, Girls Inc, Robert Sterling Clark and Nathan Cummings Foundations.
She previously served as a Program Associate with both the Ford and Robert Sterling Clark Foundations. She is the author of several publications.
7.Roscoe Orman (Advisor) and IBFF workshop instructor is a renowned actor that began his career with"Freedom Theatre". Roscoe is currently best know for his role as Mr. Gordon on "Sesame Street".
8. Titus Walker (Advisor) is the founder and Artistic Director of the "Ujama Black Theatre".
9. Joe Franklin (Advisor) is a world famous television and radio personality that pioneered the "Talk Show". Joe has interviewed the biggest names in "Show Business" and has been on radio and television continuously for over half century.
