Afternoon R.O.C.K in Indiana
Indiana 's new prevention initiative provides entertaining youth development programming in a safe, adult supervised environment. Entertaining educational activities are incorporated in a context of structured and unstructured supportive activities that help youth develop positive social relationships with pro-social peers. Parents say that it provides enrichment and structure in the after-school hours. This program meets twice a week, for eight weeks during the school year.

Brownies/Junior Girls Scouts
This program is offered in collaboration with Girl Scouts of Limberlost Council for girls ages 5-11. The girls meet with Girl Scout leaders on the 2 nd and 4 th Thursday of each month from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. These programs were developed to enhance and encourage creativity and individuality in the girls. The girls learn songs, play games, earn prizes, make crafts, etc. It is truly a fun and educational experience.

CITY Girls Teen Girls Scout Program
CITY = Contemporary Issues for Today's Youth
This is a restructured version of the traditional Girl Scout program. It is a cool and exciting program for girls, that deals with current issues. These sessions are also facilitated by Girl Scout leaders on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month from 6:00 to 6:45 p.m.

Healthy Spirits Pool League/Character Building Program
A local pool champion conducts this program Monday, Wednesday and Friday of each week to provide instruction in pool play and character building for boys ages 8-15. The boys entertain speakers on a regular basis and also go on field trips.

Jewels Girls Program (Ages: 12 - 18)
This exciting session is held each Tuesday from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m. These young ladies are on the verge of becoming precious jewels that shine bright in a dark world. They talk about emotional issues, career planning, health and hygiene, dating, etc. They often entertain guest speakers and go on field trips. They love to dance and model for fashion shows. Once they have completed this level, they should be able to reach back and help the Little Jewels and Junior Jewels.

Junior Jewels Girls Program (Ages: 10 - 11)
These young ladies meet each Thursday from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m. They are taught Bible truths and other topics such as health and hygiene and the transition into adolescence. Their goal is to progress to Jewels.

Little Jewels Girls Program (Ages: 5 - 9)
These girls meet each Monday from 5:15 to 6:00 p.m. They are taught simple Bible truths that they can understand and they also prepare snacks that relate to each lesson. Their hearts are being cultivated to progress to Junior Jewels.

Kids Cafe & Jesus Club
Kids Café is a program offered in collaboration with Community Harvest Food Bank. On Wednesdays a local Arby's restaurant prepares either sandwiches or chicken fingers for all of our kids. The kids also participate in a Bible study that is co-facilitated by the youth group from County Line Church of God.

Kids R.a.P. (Righteous and Pure)
Every 2 nd and 4 th Saturday, First Assembly of God provides a Saturday Outreach program from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at New Life Church of God, an inner city church.

Movie Day
The students love to watch their favorite movies while eating popcorn. We recently purchased a popcorn popper with a grant from Trinity English Lutheran Church .

Project READS
The goal of this program is to help students in grades K-3 read at grade level by the time they complete the 3 rd grade, and also students in higher grades who read below 3 rd grade level. Students from Taylor University serve as tutors.

Sports
The goal of the Sports program is to prepare young athletes ages 10-18 to become productive citizens by helping them develop character, discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork. We offer basketball and baseball. We work in collaboration with Weisser Park Little League and the Jennings Center.

Recreation/Field Trips
Children of all ages like to forget about work sometimes and just play and have fun! Sometimes recreation includes structured activities that take place both on and off site. This includes field trips, arts and crafts, and swimming. At other times, the children are free to play pool, air hockey, bumper pool, board games, etc. Recreation includes all age groups.

Tutoring/Homework Help
Each Monday, a group of 10-20 Bishop Dwenger adult and student volunteers provide homework help for our kids from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. On Monday through Thursday, IPFW Work Study students also provide tutoring and homework help.

EAWC teens in Recording Studio. Class teaches students how to create/record their own sounds, beats, poems to rhythm and/or music.
