As a counselor, I've heard some amazing things from clients that suffer from anxiety.
Symptoms of mental disorders as severe as schizophrenia can appear due to anxiety. Anxiety can feed on itself causing the onset of a panic attack.
Physical symptoms such as irritable bowel syndrome or frequent urination can result from anxiety. And, the loss of sleep that often goes with an anxiety disorder can lead to burnout or psychotic features like hearing voices. So, anxiety is something to get help for and an emotion to control before it gets the best of you. What is your experience with anxiety? How have you learned to deal with it?
Is anxiety ever a good emotion?
