WILMA KIRK-LEE received her Bachelor of Social Work degree (BSW) from California State University, Sacramento with a concentration in Family and Children. She obtained her Master's of Social Work degree (MSW) from the University of Arkansas Little Rock. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Texas. Prior to receiving her formal education, Mrs. Lee had been active in community and school projects that dealt with families.

Currently, Mrs. Lee is the Executive Director for Center for Family Wholeness (CFW). She also does consulting for Head Start Region VI. She has served as Chairperson of Behavioral Sciences and Fine Arts at Shorter College, a Historically Black College/University operated by the AME church in North Little Rock, Arkansas. She has developed curricula in the area of families and social work at her institution. She has also developed an audio-visual presentation "Growing Up, Young, Black and Female." She has done recitations for groups and families throughout the United States, countries in East Africa, and Canada. She has written a handbook, QuickStart for Family Ministries, for church leaders who work with families which will is published by AdventSource.

She serves as the Vice-President of Community and Clergy Outreach for All Healers Mental Health Alliance (AHMHA). She is also a charter member of AHMHA.

She is a wife of over four decades to W. S. Lee, and Mother to Anthony, deceased, and Adrienne Lee-Jones, Director of Payroll and Benefits for Phillips Services Corporation; Amber Lee Williams, senior Counsel, Wal-Mart.
