About Us
CharityAdvantage is a community leader in nonprofit technology
programs - an independent voice and source of facts and analysis
for policy makers, the media, the nonprofit community, and the
general public.
Through our policy research and communications programs, we
work to provide reliable information in a nonprofit system in
which the issues are increasingly complex and as organizations
face difficult challenges and choices. Because of this, CharityAdvantage
introduces innovative models for creating deep and positive
change, empowering nonprofits by connecting them to innovative
technical programs, thus encouraging effective transformation.
We believe that when nonprofits are offered practical and visionary
solutions, they become inspired, realize their potential and
will act to restore a healthier balance in our communities.

Our Mission
Our mission is to provide free, donated, and low-cost technology
products and services to nonprofit organizations in the United
States.
We educate nonprofits in all areas of technology. We improve
technology and build nonprofit networks across the country.
We empower nonprofits to use technology to gain greater access
to funders, recruit volunteers, network with other nonprofits,
create a more professional image, educate the community about
their programs and services, improve communication with supporters,
present their organization favorably to grant makers, obtain
new members and donors, implement cost-effective marketing,
and reduce print and mail costs.

Our Vision
A vision shared by major national nonprofit organizations, corporate
funders, and the government... A vision held by CharityAdvantage
and put into action.
National leaders agree with the vision of CharityAdvantage that
US-based nonprofit organizations of all sizes need more advanced
technology solutions to properly operate and market their organizations,
fundraise, and manage donor relationships. Our program work
has taken us throughout the U.S. and to Washington D.C. to discuss
nonprofits and technology.
Too many nonprofits are getting left behind by not taking full
advantage of current technologies. Nonprofits are not building
and maintaining web sites in proportion to other growth industries.
Nonprofit organizations do not have the computer hardware and
software necessary to grow their organizations. Over $10 Billion
was donated online in 2007 yet most nonprofits are not taking
online donations. Nonprofits need strong systems now to build
relationships with supporters and potential donors who will
be giving in the future. Nonprofits need greater access to online
fundraising resources. We envision a country where all nonprofits
are using the latest technologies to help accomplish their missions
most effectively.
